ENTIRE Art Class DVD Series GIVEAWAY!

See the Light Art Class DVD Series giveaway. All 9 volumes to one winner. The Unlikely Homeschool

This past spring, after a crazy-busy winter, my kids and I had the privilege of taking an art time rabbit trail. We tucked our normal art plans aside, and chose instead to use See the Light's Art Class Vol. 1 DVD. We absolutely loved it! Pat's unique style of combining faith AND art technique in an easy-to-implelent video was EXACTLY what this tired momma needed! All I had to do was hit "play." (For more of my thoughts, see my original review.)

But the truth of the matter is, after getting a short respite from my teaching-every-subject schedule, I was ready to jump back into the art teacher role and so we went back to Plan A.  Although I absolutely loved the videos, I also really loved teaching art myself.

Shortly after our little PLAN B month of art, I suggested Pat's Art Class videos to one of my favorite homeschooling mommas, The Announcer's Wife. Over the years, she has tried several different art curriculums, all of which left her and her children with frustration.

I knew that See the Light's Art Class would be perfect for her and her kids and did not hesitate to recommend it. Excited about the prospect of FINALLY having some art time success, she bought ALL NINE VOLUMES on the spot!

That was six months ago.  How does she feel about the program now???  I'll let her tell you in her own words.

After searching scores of different art curriculums, and filling our cabinets with art books that left us feeling discouraged and incapable as artists, we discovered Art Class by Pat Knepley. Pat starts each lesson with a blank sheet of paper, just like us! It was a breath of fresh air compared to other art curriculums that start by showing you a finished masterpiece, and leaving you feeling inept and bewildered as you look down at your own starch white paper. She cheerfully and thoroughly explains each step, and we sit comfortably in our living room mimicking her strokes. After a few minutes, we look down at our papers amazed at the outcome! She encourages our spirits, ensuring us that we were made by a Creator, and He has gifted us to do great things. My children have never been so eager to have art class, nor have they ever been so well equipped to make their own masterpieces thanks to Pat's live-action teaching! -The Announcer's Wife

I know there are MANY mommas just like The Announcer's Wife that would love to provide art for their kids, but who can't seem to find a program with REALISTIC expectations.  That's why I am super excited to be able to announce that...(Insert dramatic drumroll)...

See the Light will be giving away (1) Art Class - 1 Year set, Volumes 1-9 to one family. We will be picking a random winner September 15 at 11:59p. Winner will be contacted via email and must respond within 48 hours or another winner will be chosen. All entries will be verified.

  1. We would start with volume 1. We do a lot of arts and crafts projects through other subjects, but with an incremental program I would start with the basics.

  13. We'd start with vol. 1, since none of us have had formal art class until now (1 non-artistic mom, 1 9y boy just recently interested in art, 1 6yo daughter who loves art and does well for being self-taught)
